OhioMedicaid
The
state of Ohio participates in the federally funded medicaid
program in order to help low income families to afford proper
medical insurance. Some of the programs that Ohio currently
offers are Families, Children & Pregnant Women, Aged,
Blind and People with Disabilities, and Women w/ Breast
/ Cervical Cancer
Although the medicaid program is a federal insurance program
it is administered and partially funded on the state level.
The state of Ohio uses the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family
Services to administer the medicaid program in the state.
* Tip - Keep your medicaid card with you at all times and
never give it to anyone to use. You will lose your medicaid
privileges and may end up in jail.
